How do I add video to a press release?

You can add YouTube Videos and Google Videos to a press release with our Plus and Premium plan.

Step One: Submit a press release.

Step Two: Choose the $99 Plus package for one media attachment or the $149 Premium package for five media attachments. Check out process is handled by PayPal.

Step Three: After you finish checking out, return to merchant (PR Leap) website. This will bring you back to the press release page on prleap.com.

Step Four: Click on the "Add Video" button on the right menu.

Step Five: You can add an existing video to a press release from your media library, or you can add a new video to a press release.

  • Add existing video to news release
  • "Select from existing video in account" and submit.
  • Add New Video to News Release
  • To "add a new video to a news release," simply fill out all the information in the form, select type of file, and submit.

How do I upload an image, pdf, or mp3?

You can include multimedia attachments with a press release with the purchase of the Plus and Premium package.

Step Five: You can add existing media to a news release from your media library, or you can add new media to a news release.

  • Add Existing Media to News Release "Select from existing media in account" and submit.
  • Upload New Media to News Release To "upload new media to news release," simply fill out all the information in the form, browse for file on your computer, select type of file, and submit.

Can I use media in my account like a company logo with more than one press release

You can use any media in your account with more than one press release. After you submit a press release and purchase the Plus or Premium Package, go back to the press release and click on the add video or upload media button.

How do I delete a video, image, PDF, or MP3 from my account?

Note: Deleting a video, image, pdf, or mp3 from your account immediately and permanently deletes it from all press releases that include it.

If you want to delete media from your account, go to the Dashboard and click on the press release that includes the media.

On the right menu you should see "Media" and below it "Credits" and below that a bullet list with name of media files. Click on the name of file you wish to delete.

You should now be on the "View Media" page. On the right menu, click "Delete Media" button and confirm by clicking "Delete Media" again.

If successful, you will see a green box with the confirmation message: "Media was successfully deleted."

How do I remove media from a press release?

Media in your account must be associated with at least one press release. You can add media to more than one press release. If you add the same media to two or more press releases and then change your mind, you may remove it from all but one release.

If you want to remove media from a press release, go the Dashboard and click on the press release that should no longer have the media attached to it.

On the right menu, click on the name of file you wish to remove from the press release.

You should be now on the "View Media" page. On the right menu, click "Unlink from News" and confirm by clicking "Unlink Media."

If successful, you will see "Unlink Media - Success, Media was successfully unlinked."

Otherwise you will see the following message: "Unlink Media - Error, This media can only be deleted, not unlinked. All media must be associated to at least one press release."
