Werner of Hanley Investment Group represented the buyer and seller in the sale of a multi-tenant retail center in San Jacinto, Calif. The purchase price was $4,200,000, which represented a 6.20% cap rate. The 17,500-square-foot retail center, known as San Jacinto Plaza, is located at 480 N. State Street in San Jacinto. Stater Bros. Markets opened its second store in San Jacinto at The Village at San Jacinto Shopping Center. Stater Bros. is part of a 100,000 sq. ft. neighborhood center under construction by Pacific Development Partners of Beverly Hills, CA. The new center will also include Walgreens, Carl’s Jr., Del Taco, PFF Bank & Trust, Starbucks and others. The City of San Jacinto celebrated the grand opening of a new 207,773-square-foot Wal-Mart Supercenter at 1861 S. San Jacinto Avenue. “The new Wal-Mart is the first of many new retailers that will be opening in the City’s ‘super block,’ fulfilling the City’s vision of a prominent commercial hub in the San Jacinto’s Valley’s eastern trade area,” said Mayor Jim Ayres. - May 16, 2007
