LISTOPICA LAUNCHES PUBLIC SERVICE WEBSITE CALIFORNIAWILDFIRES.ORG, HELPING PEOPLE AFFECTED BY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FIRES

(PRLEAP.COM) Fontana, CA – Listopica – Interactive commerce company Listopica announced today it has created a public service website to supply emergency information, provide updates, and serve as a focused means to communicate in order to help Southern California fire victims. The website, CaliforniaWildfires.org, includes information on: emergency child care centers, evacuation locations, assistance for seniors, San Diego road closures, maps, volunteering and donating, lists of informational websites, and more.

“It can be hard to imagine how many millions of people are directly and indirectly connected to these fires. When you add family members and friends, business connections, and all the others to those who work and reside in scorched areas, you can start to realize the importance of having a website solely focused on the Southern California fires,” explained Listopica CEO Joe Podian. “For Listopica, the website is the easy part, since we have the expertise to create, manage, and update it. The most important part is in serving people as they go through the different stages of this natural disaster, from today’s raging fires to the aftermath of working to put their lives together.”

The website is asking for online volunteers who can contribute their first-hand stories, edit and moderate posts, and contribute videos and photos. “Your little bit of help, however small it may feel to you now, can make a huge difference for someone affected. So please consider it thoughtfully and go ahead by contacting us, added Podian.”

To learn more, add your comments, or to volunteer, visit the website at CaliforniaWildfires.org.
