Burns received his bachelors of arts in architecture from Clemson University in 2004 and his master’s degree in architecture from N.C. State University in 2007. He is a LEED accredited professional and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s Emerging Green Builders (EGB), a coalition of students and young professionals who are intent on promoting the integration of future leaders into the green building movement.
