Eye Candy – The Volumes, Voyeur de la Mode, a purely new fashion photography “book”, as never seen before, will be officially launched at the L’Oréal Paris Fashion Week’s closing party, on Friday October 26th 2007. The event will be held in the exclusive Fashion Tent at Nathan Phillip Square, Toronto.

The giant screen company, Eye Candy Media is proud to announce this new division of their international company which presently includes: Eye Candy Studios®, and Eye Candy Music. This latest venture to create the perfect coffee table book, (it is referred to as a book because of its giant size) sprung from Eye Candy’s directors, Angelos Angeli and Ravin Bhavnani who saw the niche and the interest that this publication could generate. According to Ravin, “The results of decades of relentless advertising and marketing bombardment of the human mind will result in the evolution of a new type of consumer, a consumer that is no longer sensitive to the stimulation of the written word.” Arthur Mendoca has described the book as “An intense montage of images for the visually ravenous; it’s another example of fashion moving forward in Canada.”

Voyeur de la Mode, has attracted the likes of photographers such as: Howard Schatz, Sacha Dean Biyan, Nigel Riches, Paul Alexander, Yanick Déry, Mario Miotti and illustrator Peggy Moquay. Not only has The Volumes been designed to display fashionable art, but it has introduced a purely visual experience without the use of editorial content. Robin Kay, President of the Fashion Design Council of Canada and Executive Director was quoted saying, “Eye Candy, The Volumes speaks to the Fashion Council’s successful efforts in the globalization of Canadian Fashion”.

In addition, The Volumes offers advertisers a unique package that no other publishing company can; a Tri-Visual Marketing Experience. The advertiser will not only be able to advertise in the hard copy format, but will also have the option to advertise in the online version (which offers hotlinks on the ad to the advertiser’s website, for instant purchase). The advertiser will also be able to broadcast their advertisement at exclusive events, such as: the L’Oréal Fashion Week and Formula 1, Montreal. Angelos Angeli, Co-Director states that “The interactive element of The Volumes brings the buyer much closer to the advertiser than any other publication that exists on the planet”.

The official launch parties expected high-profile guests will include: Fashion Design Council of Canada’s Robin Kay, Fashion Television’s Jeanne Beker, Toronto Fashion Incubator’s Susan Langdon, world renowned fashion photographer Sacha Dean Biyan, Holt Renfrew’s David Asher and Canada’s Next Top Model Paul Alexander.

Voyeur de la Mode will be available twice a year and can be found in newsstands across the country, at boutique hotels in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, and other elite locations. The book will also be available in online and print subscription.
