Altasen Services released today a new book on the Oracle ERP System: "System Administration for Oracle E-Business Suite". This book makes learning how to administer Oracle Applications quite simple. Learning curves that were normally around months are now being decreased to a week or less. Not only that, the users of the book also gain insight in the latest security features of the Oracle ERP System. This is extremely important in a period of more stringent Accounting Rules.

The book is useful for consultants, new-hires and managers. They can use it to learn the techniques, use it as a reference guide, and know all the buzz-words and concepts. And for trainers: there is also a Classroom edition, with exercises for up to 10 students.

The book explains the security model with: Users, Roles and Responsibilities, and the scheduling of Reports, with Concurrent Programs and Managers. It also explains Profiles, Flexfields, the UI Modeler and OA Framework Personalization. It explains Concepts, gives Guided Exercises, Tips and Exercises. All concepts are explained via real-life examples, screen captures and navigation-paths.

The book is written by Roel Hogendoorn, who has more than eight years of experience with the Oracle E-Business Suite. He works as a trainer and consultant, so he knows how to explain complicated concepts and techniques. He has worked with Oracle Applications from 10.7 to Release 12.

The book is available immediately via http://stores.lulu.com/learnworks, and will be available via Amazon.com in 6 weeks.
