Brandlet offers the quality and service of a department store, combined with the ease and price of an online outlet.

About the owner
Ms. Bali Clasquin established CQ International (CQI) in 2003 and is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of the company’s online designer shopping boutiques, Brandlet.com and Khadus.com.

Born in India and raised in Hong Kong, Ms. Clasquin began her business career at the age of 17 where she formed a granite and marble distribution company to support the growing development of hi-rises in Hong Kong’s city core. In 1995, Ms. Clasquin moved to the United States, completing her bachelor’s degree at California State Polytechnic University (Pomona) and continuing on to National University where she obtained a Masters in Business Administration in 2005. During this time, Ms. Clasquin worked in the computer industry where she built a strong repertoire of technical experience to complement her international business expertise.

In 2006, Ms. Clasquin fused her academic and professional experiences with her inert fashion sense acquired while living in Asia’s most cosmopolitan city to establish Brandlet.com, a unique one-a-day e-retailer that sold a range of products from computer electronics to high-end fashion apparel. With products from the U.S. and Hong Kong, Brandlet.com offered merchandise direct from its warehouse, selling one product a day at discounted prices. A primary focus of the company was to provide reliable customer service and utilize recognized online marketing affiliates. By the end of its first year, Brandlet.com had over 70,000 visitors.

Based on consumer feedback on product preferences and her personal allure to designer fashions, Ms. Clasquin considered a change at Brandlet.com. Research concluded that fashion e-retailers offered selection but poor customer service and department store prices limited customer satisfaction and purchasing frequency. In the spring of 2007, Ms. Clasquin set out to re-align Brandlet.com with the
needs of its consumers.

On 10 September 2007, Ms Clasquin re-introduced e-retailer Brandlet.com while launching a new one-a-day e-retailer, Khadus.com. Both online boutiques are customer-focused and dedicated to offering selection, and authentic brand name designer fashions for women at outlet prices.
