CUSTODY WINNING DAD LAUNCHES HELPMEPAYFORMYDIVORCE.COM TO RAISE AWARENESS OF MEN’S RIGHTS AND RAISE MONEY

(PRLEAP.COM) October 30, 2007 – (Atlanta) Helpmepayformydivorce.com was launched in September with a dual purpose – to educate and inspire men to fight for their rights when it comes to children, as well as raise money for the site owner’s legal bill. The site takes a humorous and light tone to give advice for divorcing dads who may not believe they can win custody of their children. The site owner, who prefers to remain anonymous, lists that he is not a legal expert or an attorney. He refers to himself as a dad who has been in a long divorce and custody battle and won.

The site owner, says “I had to unfairly pay an enormous sum to just to even the playing field in what would have been a simple custody fight if the male/female situations were reversed. I won and preserved the safety and welfare of my daughter and now I’m looking to get some help to pay these bills. I also saw that the web was lacking enough easy to access resources for men on how to fight for custody.”

The website collects donations for the owner directly online and also uses Google Adsense advertising to create additional revenue. As of October 28, 2007 the site lists more than 300 donations in its short life. The owner declines to state how much money has actually been collected.

The site owner follows with, “The point of the site is to get people thinking and give men some hope that if they file for divorce, they aren’t doomed to fighting to get visitation. If they are the better parent, they should get visitation… but they have to know how to do it. The type of genitals one has is not a good indicator of where and with whom a child can reside.
