PITTSBURGH, PA - October 31, 2007 - North Carolina has been host to many major events: the Wright Brothers' first flight, Babe Ruth's first professional homerun, the invention of Pepsi-Cola. On October 29th, the state of North Carolina will be host to another big event: the launch party for Brian Douglas Coyle's horror novel, Soul Riders.

The Soul Riders launch party will be held at the internationally renowned Angus Barn Restaurant in Raleigh, North Carolina. Angus Barn is one of North Carolina's top restaurants, and their executive chef, Walter Royal, was recently a featured contestant and victor on the popular television culinary competition, Iron Chef America. Walter Royal will be leading eight international chefs in preparing the event's cuisine.

At the party, Brian Douglas Coyle and SterlingHouse Publisher, Inc. will be furnishing a special print run of Soul Riders for sale, and the proceeds will go toward the Foundation of Hope. Five lucky customers will also receive a $50 gift certificate for Angus Barn slipped into the cover.

The owners of the Angus Barn Restaurant created the Foundation of Hope, which began in 1984 and is dedicated to the research and treatment of mental illness. The Foundation of Hope promotes research aimed at discovering the causes of, as well as more effective treatments and cures, for mental illness. The Foundation is committed to raising community awareness and supporting successful treatment programs.

"It's a spectacular event," said Jon Handel, Marketing and Publicity Coordinator for SterlingHouse Publisher, Inc. "It should be a fun time for everyone, and the best part is that it's all for a good cause."

Megan Davidson, Editor-in-Chief for SterlingHouse Publisher, Inc., is delighted with the event, saying, "The lovely atmosphere of the Angus Barn Restaurant, combined with the happy occasion of Brian's book release and the heartwarming work of the charity, should make for a wonderful event."
