Dr. Borris to speak at National Press Club Book Fair

Dr. Eileen R. Borris-Dunchunstang will be participating in the National Press Club Book Fair this Thursday evening, November 1st in Washington, DC. This is one of Washington's most prestigious literary events that attract authors from across the nation. Dr. Borris-Dunchunstang’s book Finding Forgiveness: A 7-Step Program for Letting Go of Anger and Bitterness, a finalist for “Books for a Better Life Award” was one of the books chosen for the fair. The profound importance of forgiveness, not only in our private lives but in the arena of public and even international relations, is a featured topic. The National Press Club Book Fair benefits the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library at the National Press Club, a nonprofit organization.

Dr. Eileen R. Borris- Dunchunstang is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Paradise Valley, Arizona. She serves as the Director of Training for the Institute for Multi-Track Diplomacy in Washington DC, where she designs and implements training programs in international conflict resolution, incorporating processes of forgiveness within the broader context of international peacebuilding. Dr. Borris-Dunchunstang has worked for USAID and UNIFEM and presented her work in forgiveness and reconciliation at many national and international conferences including the United Nations. Dr. Borris- Dunchunstang teaches forgiveness and reconciliation at the School of International Service at American University, the National Defense University and at the Institute for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University.
