'Apes prepare for battle in Atlanta

(PRLEAP.COM) Atlanta - The Fire Apes, an Indie Rock/Powerpop band based out of Charleston, SC, will be performing in the next round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands on Wednesday, November 7th, at Vinyl, Atlanta, GA.

Qualifying for this year’s battle based on strength of performance and fan voting, The Fire Apes, now face their first challenge to prove it in person during the audition round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands. More than 7,000 bands registered to participate at 350 battle showcases throughout the U.S for a chance to compete in the Bodog Music Battle of the Bands reality TV series.

The Fire Apes, consisting of John Seymour on lead guitar and vocals, Julian Volpe on bass and vocals, Hugh Knight on keyboards, and Aron Robinson on drums, are currently touring and have released their latest single "Hey Kate!"
