Virgin Islands Boat Show at New Mega-Marina

(PRLEAP.COM) The 33rd annual Virgin Islands Charter League Boat Show is being hosted at Yacht Haven Grande, the new mega-marina in the USVI. Nov 6-11 will find charter boat captains and brokers flocking to the USVI to conduct business and get a good look at the ultra luxurious Yacht Haven Grande.

The Virgin Islands Charter League Boat Show is one of the big events in the USVI. Signaling the beginning of the year’s tourist season.

Yacht Haven Grande is a new mega-marina built to compete with St. Maarten’s Isle de Sol. Both marinas are part of the Island Global Yachting group (IGY).

An estimated 24,000 tourists are expected to take charter boat vacations this season and the U.S. Virgin Islands are at the center of the Caribbean charter boat industry.

The Virgin Islands Charter League has made arrangements for Jim Walberg, author of a local blog to cover the event with several daily posts on his site - www.CaribbeanIslandsRealty.com.

This will be the first USVI event to gain extensive blog coverage and the VICL is hoping to gain more international exposure through these efforts. The VICL is arranging a score of interviews, some of which will be podcasted.

It appears that "Island Time" is also having to come to grips with technology.
