Show promotes Russell Bedford Network to international investors

November 07, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
Russell Bedford International, the worldwide network of independent accounting and business consulting firms, attracted a flood of enquiries via its exhibition stand at the 'Business Startup Overseas' show at the ExCeL international exhibition centre in London.

The network made use of the highly successful two-day event to raise the profile of the Russell Bedford brand name within the business community, as well as to promote the services offered by member firms in helping UK-based entrepreneurs to set up operations in other countries.

Representatives from the network's firms in Jersey, Malta, Netherlands, Spain and the UK joined the Russell Bedford corporate marketing team on the stand. Overall, some 25,000 visitors attended the exhibition - a surprisingly high number for such an event.

Russell Bedford International also had the opportunity to present a 30-minute seminar to attendees, and Naresh Shah, representing Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited, made a presentation entitled "Doing business in Dubai". This too proved successful, with members of the audience queuing to ask questions at the end.

Note to Editors

Russell Bedford International was established in 1983 by a group of medium-sized independent accounting practices aiming to counter the market dominance of the major multi-national accounting firms.

Russell Bedford is now a closely-connected global network of independent accounting and business consultancy firms in key locations around the world, and is represented by some 200 offices in more than 70 countries in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.

All Russell Bedford affiliates are well-established firms offering international business advice and services to local and multinational clients. Most provide a full range of services comprising accounting, auditing, tax advice, general business guidance and financial consulting. In addition, many have special expertise in particular fields, such as international taxation or information technology.
