Lunch or Dinner, Europa Restaurant Offers Something for Every Taste

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – There are no more debates over where to take your family or group to eat now that the Europa Restaurant has opened for business.

Chef Mike Rodrigues and his family own and operate the Europa, which has just opened at 489 Granby Road ( route 202 just off route 33 Memorial Drive).

The extensive menu of American, Continental, and Portuguese specialties insures that there will be something to please everyone in your family or group. There is even an exciting children’s menu that will both kids and parents happy.

Prices of entrees range from $3.50 to $15 for great favorites like Bacalhau, Prime Rib, Pork Alentjana, Baked Scrod, Paelha, and Lobster.

“Come on in an relax in our sports lounge and enjoy a cocktail. Watch your favorite game, listen to your favorite music while you enjoy your favorite appetizer, sandwich, or dinner from the bar. Come back on another night and have a quiet dinner in our cozy dining room,” said Rodrigues.

Rodrigues has 15 years of restaurant experience he brings to the new Europa. His personal specialties are a must. Be sure to try the Tapenade Crusted Chilean Sea Bass with roasted red pepper risotto, or perhaps the Grilled Flat Iron Steak with a wild mushroom sauce. He also offers a splendid Mediterranean Chicken, mouth-watering Blackened Shrimp, and a fantastic Goat Cheese Grilled Shrimp wrapped in Presunto.

The menu at the Europa offers a full range of items to please everyone, and keep you coming back for more. Choose from American, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, French, and Spanish menu items. There are vegetarian offerings, and Rodrigues said he would be pleased to alter his menu to help anyone with a special diet. The items on the children’s menu are served with fries, a beverage, and even include ice cream for desert for less than $5.

The Europa is open for lunch and dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. and offers a banquet room, catering, and live entertainment.
