Todson puts their money where their heart is, co-sponsors May Institute in Rodman Ride for Kids

November 08, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
As one of its corporate sponsors for the Rodman Ride for Kids, Todson, Inc., distributor of Topeak bicycle accessories and OnGuard Locks, would have to rank among the Randolph, Massachusetts-based non-profit organizations biggest admirers.

Todson contributed $5,000 towards the May Institute’s fundraising efforts. In addition, several Todson employees To rode as part of the May Institute’s team in the Rodman Ride—a 25-, 50-, or 100-mile non-competitive cycling tour to raise funds for a wide variety of children’s social service agencies across Massachusetts.

“As an avid cyclist, the Rodman Ride for Kids is something near and dear to my heart. As a member of the May Institute’s board of trustees, I can say the same for the Institute. I’m delighted that Todson and our employees could be a part of The Institute’s team efforts to raise funds for this very worthy cause,” said Neal Todrys, president and CEO of Todson, Inc.

Since its inception in 1991, the Rodman Ride for Kids has raised more than $25 million to help children across Massachusetts. The May Institute team, with Todson and Merrill Lynch as its corporate sponsors, raised $100,000 for this year’s Rodman Ride. As a beneficiary of the Rodman Ride for Kids, The Institute will receive 100 percent of that $100,000, which will benefit the estimated 16,000 children served by May Institute throughout New England.

“We can’t thank Mr. Todrys and the employees of Todson enough for their participation and support. This was the first time May Institute has been invited to participate in the Rodman Ride for Kids and we are delighted with the tremendous success of our fundraising efforts,” said Heidi Howard, May Institute’s Chief of Strategic Development.
