Punch Hungry To Support Chez Gérard

November 10, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Midlands based PR agency Punch Communications has landed a project to launch new regional venues for the Brasserie Chez Gérard brand - including locations in Oxford, Bath and Henley-on-Thames respectively.

The team won the project in a non-competitive pitch, having presented a menu of cost effective marketing ideas for the Paramount Restaurant - Chez Gérard's parent company - team to choose from within 24 hours of first contact. In particular, Punch has created a regional blueprint for the launches, allowing the plan to be adopted on a wider scale if required.

Specifically, each launch will include sampling, competitions, a regional survey and a photo call opportunity for local media, in addition to advertising and other paid for promotions.

With each launch either having recently taken place or due imminently, the campaign will commence immediately to generate impact, raise awareness and drive bookings for each venue.

Alison Dilley, Chez Gérard Brand Manager, Paramount Restaurant Group commented:
"The Punch team was extremely responsive, understanding the urgency to get moving with these projects literally overnight. We wanted to work with a flexible team that was not-precious and keen to get stuck in to the task. Punch's efforts to date have been focussed around quick wins and planning for some great exposure in each location. We're delighted to have been able to outsource this project and entrust it to the Punch team."

Pete Goold, MD, Punch Communications, added:
"This is a terrific brand and opportunity for Punch. We have created a tightly knit plan which is ambitious yet achievable and can be implemented and rolled out region-by-region to create noise in the areas that will have the most significant effect."
