THE WEATHER CHANNEL INTERACTIVE DEBUTS FORECAST FOOTBALL VIDEOS
(
PRLEAP.COM) ATLANTA – As the football season intensifies and weather becomes more of a factor, The Weather Channel Interactive (TWCI) has debuted Forecast Football, a weekly broadband series that analyzes how weather may impact the outcome of the week’s big games. Hosted by Tim Liotta, the previews are available on the BlueBox video player on weather.com and can be found on the football preview page of weather.com at
www.weather.com/nfl.
Each week Liotta will analyze how the weather will impact the games by looking at historical statistics on how the teams and players have managed weather in the past. Football and weather have been linked in some of the greatest games in NFL history – the “Ice Bowl” and the “Snowplow Game” are just a few examples of when the weather report was just as important as the scouting report.
This week’s videos, available now, will preview Minnesota at Green Bay, Dallas at NY Giants and Cleveland at Pittsburgh. Forecast Football can be found within the NFL page on weather.com, which also features detailed forecasts for every NFL game.
