Schaffner’s New Brochure Outlines Grid Compliance and Reliability for Renewable Energy Systems

EDISON, N.J., November 2007 – Schaffner EMC, a leading provider of EMI/RFI components and solutions for power quality, has just released its renewable energy conversion brochure that discusses grid compliance and reliability for renewable energy systems.

Schaffner’s new brochure addresses manufacturers’ and installers’ challenges in ensuring the compatibility of photovoltaic, wind fuel cell power systems with international power quality standards and local utility requirements. It proposes solutions for the reduction of electromagnetic interferences (EMI) both towards the grid and towards the solar panel, as well as provides information on mitigating harmonics.
