LOS ANGELES- P. J. Finer’s book provides a how-to guide for students navigating the “Applica-phobia” of the application process. It offers a program that assists students by mapping out the plan that will best suit them. It also addresses how students can explore their talents, skills, and aspirations—to create a picture of who they are and how to identify the schools that are right for them.

As Founder and Executive Director of The College Admissions Consultant, located in the Westside of Los Angeles, the firm as well as her book are committed to helping students and their families prepare for the rigorous task of applying for colleges and universities across America by reducing the stress associated with it. "Developing creative strategies and presenting the whole student to the colleges of the their choice is the key to success"says Finer.

A graduate of both USC and UCLA, respectively, P. J. Finer has been with the company since it opened its doors in 2003. She holds membership in both the National Association of College Admissions Consultants (NACAC) and the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
