Unipier Announces IPM 2.2; Offers New Flexibility in Policy Management and Advanced Integration Environment
(
PRLEAP.COM) Unipier, pioneer of Intelligent Policy Management and service delivery solutions for mobile data services, today announced the new release of its market-leading Intelligent Policy Manager™ (IPM) solution for worldwide mobile operators.
Unipier´s IPM 2.2 enables the rapid and cost-efficient definition, management and application of service policies in a scalable and non-intrusive manner, across all services and delivery channels. IPM 2.2 has already been installed within the networks of Unipier´s existing customers.
The new IPM release introduces advanced service policy management abilities and extended integration framework and protocol support, to allow mobile operators to easily apply a variety of service polices and business logic on any application and for every service delivery need.
IPM already empowers many of the world’s leading mobile operator systems – including Telefonica Móviles in Spain, O2 and Wind – ensuring a flexible policy creation environment and best user experience over any service.
On top of the new IPM 2.2, Unipier has extended its array of targeted service delivery solutions that now cover the domains of content access control, service promotions and bundling, mobile advertising, service recommendations, loyalty plans and many more.
“We are constantly adding enhancements to IPM to increase the variety of service delivery needs presented by mobile operators,” said Gabby Levy, Chief Executive Officer at Unipier. “IPM 2.2 is the first field-proven implementation of the OMA PEEM standard and allows mobile operators to realize any service business need in a matter of hours, without burdening marketers with costly IT projects.”
IPM 2.2 includes a number of new capabilities:
* Improved Modeling Environment: IPM Policy Language was improved to allow solution modelers a highly usable environment to create policies that handle and use a variety of data collections, to define complex expressions and use built-in functions.
* New Built-in Enablers and Pre-integrations: IPM built-in set of enablers and pre-integrations were enhanced, and now include dedicated enablers for HTTP and Browsing User Interaction actions, String and Date operations, and others.
* Advanced Integration Framework: IPM´s new integration framework further simplifies the integration process and facilitates the smooth integration of IPM and its extended capabilities into the operator environment. This integration framework enables the development of custom enablers and protocol adaptors, on top of the existing built-in enablers and adaptors. It further facilitates the operation of the IPM in heterogeneous environments, through multiple protocols, including SOAP and Web Services, ICAP, SIP, HTTP and others.
* IPM Extended Development Tools: Development of service policies was never easier. The new version of the IPM Studio is equipped with many production tools, including cross-reference, flow tracing capabilities, automatic refactoring and more.
