November 14, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Health News
The Campbell’s Nutrition neon carrot has long been a beacon of health in Des Moines. With three grocery and supplement stores throughout the metro area, Campbell’s is focused on promoting health through organic, local foods and quality supplements. Today, Campbell’s Nutrition announced they are taking their role in the health of Central Iowans one step farther with the launch of the Iowa Guide to Natural and Alternative Practitioners.

The online guide, accessible at http://www.campbellsnutrition.com, seeks to include anyone in Central Iowa who considers themselves an “alternative practitioner.” Naturopathic Doctors, Acupuncturists, Yoga teachers, Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Holistic Doctors, Dentists and Veterinarians, Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and more will be included, making the guide a comprehensive source for finding alternative health care providers.

This new, online guide to CAM practitioners is just one more step Campbell’s Nutrition is taking to position itself as the community hub for natural foods and supplements, as well as alternative, natural practitioners. Every day, people seeking alternative treatment options come to Campbell's, where they are guided towards dietary changes and supplements, and often referred to local practitioners. The Iowa Guide to Alternative Practitioners will provide a valuable resource to Campbell's staff and customers, organizing area practitioners into a searchable database.

Campbell’s Nutrition has opened up registration for the guide, which costs $20 a month (yearly discounts are available).
