USNT, through its Vitelity subsidiary are starting a new and more aggressive initiative focused on the SMB (small- and medium-sized business) market for lower cost telephone service. The latest technology is called VoIP - voice over Internet protocol - which in simple terms uses the Internet to deliver telephone calls instead of more costly telephone company wires and systems. In most cases it is possible to use a regular telephone and plug it into into a small adapter connected to an Internet connection. It is not any more complicated than that.

The SMB market is expected to be amulti-billion dollar market and growing at 15% per year. and Vitelity expects to be considered a major force in this business market.

The company will also be offering an office PBX on a hosted basis, so that the customer will not need to manage an in-house PBX. With no upfront costs to pay, businesses are enthusiastically embracing hosted pbx systems.
