Glenaire Announces Expansion of Cary Facility

Cary, NC- Sean Huyett, Executive Director of Glenaire, a continuing care retirement community, has announced the expansion of Glenaire’s campus in Cary, NC. The expanded facility will include a Resident’s Club that will house a library, café, arts and crafts center, and a fitness center with indoor pool and strength building exercise equipment.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer our residents these new facilities,” says Huyett. “Each new section will bring countless benefits to our community and provide our residents with a place where they can stay sharp, fit and active. ”

The fitness center will feature the Encompass Wellness Strategy, a health and wellness program that is specifically designed to meet the needs and goals of senior adults. The program emphasizes eight dimensions to enhance health and wellness. These include:

Nutrition
Environmental
Community Outreach

An Encompass Director of Wellness will be on site to provide interested residents with individual consultations to assess their needs and goals and develop a customized plan to help them achieve their goals.
