Gingerbread LittleVersity Held Food Drive to Benefit Local Food Pantry

Fuquay-Varina, NC- Gingerbread LittleVersity, a family-owned childcare facility, held a food drive from November 5 to November 9. All donations benefited the Fuquay-Varina Food Pantry, providing those who are less fortunate with nourishment throughout the year. A competition was held between the Gingerbread LittleVersity classrooms to collect the most food. The class that collected the most food items at the end of the drive received a prize.

“It is always an honor to see our children collect food for those that are less fortunate,” said Kelli Ketner, owner of Gingerbread LittleVersity. “Especially as we near the holidays, it is a great time to teach our students that they can help in their own way.”

Food was collected at Gingerbread LittleVersity’s three Fuquay-Varina locations: 211 Railroad Street, 2204 North Main Street, or 1521 North Main Street. For more information about the food drive, please contact Shannon Page at 919-552-6624.
