JAJA Offers Fresh Content on Official Website

November 21, 2007 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Los Angeles = Cocaban’s JaJa has loaded its official website (www.playjaja.com) with fresh content providing fun and witty flash animation and game for JaJa fans worldwide.

The whole website has the feel and look of an animation. The basic setting of the website is the town where JaJa lives and at the bottom when a menu is clicked, JaJa and her adorable pet dog Dding run around and help users get to the next destination. There is no spare time to feel bored on the website as users are encouraged to look for unexpected movements of JaJa and Dding.

“JaJa is a fresh character property targeted at 12~16 year old girls who are likely to regard the Internet as their playground and spend most of their time on the Internet rather than watching TV. Tong Communication, the creator of this property, is very enthusiastic and passionate to create a JaJa world on the web and will continue to provide fun and witty contents not like ordinary wallpapers, but attractive flash animations and simple, but exciting games to entertain teenaged JaJa fans worldwide,?said Tony Kim, founder and CEO of Cocaban Co., Ltd.

JaJa was initially introduced in the Korean market through Yoga books and soon expanded its merchandising and licensing business to apparel and accessories based on the initial success. Cocaban joined the property to extend the target market into foreign countries and successfully secured g.l.a.m. as the authorized local representative for Europe. They also continued to prepare for next exploitation of the property for North America, China, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of Asia.

The pan-European licensing agent of this property, g.l.a.m. GmbH & Co. KG started already actively developing its merchandising business strategy and opportunities to approach potential partners to exploit this promising character property throughout Europe.

Kristin Ehring, Director Sales & Account at g.l.a.m. said, “We are more than happy with the JaJa website ?the great animation and dynamic style appeals perfectly to the target group of teenage girls. In combination with the comprehensive style guide and unique designs we have the best possible basis to build a long-term merchandising program. Focus categories in the first step will be stationery and gift items as well as apparel, bags and accessories. The first feedback from potential client offers great opportunities.?
