Celebrate the Holiday Season by Attending a Brazilian Wine Tasting Benefit with a Socially Responsible Twist

PRLEAP.COM) Berkeley, CA.— On December 1st the Capoeira Arts Foundation will open its doors for an elegant and entertaining evening of Brazilian Wine Tasting and Art Showcase Benefit featuring tastings of award winning Pizzato Wines and Rio Joe’s Silver Cachaça, both from Brazil, donated by Rio Joe’s Brands, Inc., an art show opening by acclaimed photographer Mike Schreiber (
www.mikeschrieber.com), a live capoeira performance (an Afro-Brazilian art form involving dance-like fight and music), live music, and shows.
The event will be a benefit for a socially responsible project called Projeto Kirimurê. Projeto Kirimurê an after-school program that offers capoeira and music classes, as well as academic support in the areas of literacy and environmental education to low-income youth in Bahia, Brazil.
Pizzato Wines are award winning wines from Vale dos Vinhedos, the premier wine-growing appellation of Brazil (state of Rio Grande do Sul). Rio Joe’s Silver Cachaça is premium cachaça which recently won Silver Best in Class award at the International Wines and Spirits Competition in London. On December 1st the evening’s event will begin at 8 o’clock and will end at midnight. Light hors d’oevres will be served and there will be additional drinks available for purchase. Semi-formal attire is requested.
