E-learning users shed light at prestigious Learning Forum

Tata Interactive Systems (TIS), the global e-learning pioneer, has held its second Tata Learning Forum (TLF) in Chicago IL. Described as ’the place where the e-learning industry’s thought leaders meet to share ideas, innovations and insights, this symposium heard how to:
• Make Product Training work for Agents and Support Staff – from Karen Scott of Allstate Insurance
• Create exciting Compliance Training Solutions – from Pam Yourek and Susan Jones of American Airlines
• Use Simulations to teach Policy Training – from Terry Lehmann of Baker Hughes
• Use Advanced Distributed Learning Platforms to Accelerate the Implementation of Effective Blended Learning Solutions – from Bob Danna of Knowledge Management Solutions Inc.

Delegates – drawn from the top users of e-learning in the U.S and nominated by invitation only - also heard Raytheon Professional Services’ tips and experiences on Outsourcing Training, along with presentations on the ‘state of the art’ and trends in e-learning from Manoj Kutty, Worldwide President of Sales and Marketing at TIS, and Tij Nerurkar, TIS’s Vice President - Corporate and Government.

The TLF enabled senior level executives to interact with their industry peers, gain insights into creative solutions used elsewhere, learn about innovative training practices, and learn from the experience of some of the most successful e-learning initiatives in the U.S.

“We figure that if we let our clients share their experiences, we can also learn a lot. So it’s a new way of learning for us as well”, Manoj Kutty said.

Delegates at the TLF were drawn from some of the key users of e-learning in the U.S, including Kraft Foods, Pepsi Co, McGraw-Hill, Motorola, Northwest Airlines, Abbott Labs and Cook Inc.
