Emerge Industries Announces the Release of: The Amazing Sticky Yard Digital Photo Measuring System Version 2.0

LA MESA, CALIFORNIA—November 21, 2007—Emerge Industries is glad to announce the release of The Amazing Sticky Yard and Sticky Meter Digital Measuring System Ver 2.0. The Sticky Yard system is a simple, easy to use measuring tool and software application that allows the user to take measurements of virtually any object directly from a digital photo. The Sticky Yard system turns your digital camera into an electronic tape measure and precise measuring device.

Two very important and useful features have been added:

First, Version 2.0 adds the ability to save the image in JEPG Format. Users can now measure their project directly from the photo and save it in the standard JEPG format. This allows the photo to be viewed by anyone with a common image viewer. Customers and Contractors can now share measurements of a project by just emailing a photo.

Second, the version 2.0 kit includes two new rulers the 'Sticky 6' and 'Sticky 20' and the software has the ability to scale to these new smaller references. The 'Sticky 6'™ is a six inch reference for taking measurements too small or close for the Sticky Yard and is ideal for taking measurements of cabinets or small signs. The 'Sticky 20'™ is a 20cm reference and is the Metric Equivalent of the Sticky 6. Both work great for interior shots or anywhere the Sticky Yard or Meter is too big to use.

"Since the launch of version 1.0 the number one new feature requested by our customers is the ability to save the measured photo in JPEG format. Photos of a project, including the measurements, can now be sent via email and viewed by anyone using standard image viewing software." says Eric Carlson, Inventor and President. "Our photo measuring system already reduces the time necessary to collect measurements by a factor of ten, now by emailing photos and measurements we will save our customers money at the gas pump as well."
