WARE MALCOMB AWARDED DESIGN OF THREE RETAIL PROJECTS FOR CIVICA DEVELOPMENT IN ARIZONA


(PRLEAP.COM) Arizona – Leading Design firm Ware Malcomb has been awarded three retail projects for Civica Development of Goodyear, Arizona. The projects are: Falcon Plaza, located in Maricopa County, Arizona; Camelback Station and Indian Creek Plaza both located in Goodyear, Arizona.

Ware Malcomb offers planning, architecture, interior design, graphic design and site development services to commercial real estate clients throughout North America. The firm’s Phoenix office is providing master planning and architectural design services for these three speculative retail projects. Falcon Plaza is a three building neighborhood retail center totaling 41,855 square feet on 4.8 acres. The buildings range from 6,200 to 18,200 square feet and individual tenant spaces for retail shops and service restaurant use are from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. The site will be a phased development beginning with Building 1, which is 18,200 square feet.

Camelback Station contains ten buildings totaling 72,994 square feet on a 9.03 acre site. The site includes three retail buildings ranging from 7,791 to 7,862 square feet, a 3,412 square foot restaurant and six office buildings ranging from 7,000 to 8,000 square feet. This site will also be a

phased development beginning with the retail and restaurant buildings.

Indian Creek Plaza is located on a 9.7 acre site and contains 10 buildings of over 84,500 square feet to be completed in two phases. Phase I includes six retail buildings ranging in size from 4,800 to 9,400 square feet, totaling approximately 45,700 square feet. The speculative retail suite spaces will start at 1,300 square feet and will increase depending on tenant space needs. Phase II includes four low rise office buildings totaling 40,800 square feet. Two buildings are 8,000 square feet each and the other two are 12,400 square feet each. The office buildings are also speculative with suite sizes ranging from 2,000 to 12,400 square feet.

Construction for all three projects is estimated to begin in the second quarter of 2008 and be completed by the fourth quarter of 2008.
