Introducing MySongCast - “creating a music community of artists, fans and venues”

MySongCast is a new website designed to unite bands and musicians with music lovers all over the world. Sure, there are other sites that claim to do exactly this, but MySongCast is the first networking site designed by musicians, for musicians. More than another MySpace, MySongCast promises to expose bands to fans, and fans to bands by trimming the fat and focussing on prime cuts of meaty music.

A search engine that actually finds only musicians and bands, easy to navigate categories, and streaming music and videos make this the best site for bands and musicians to find their audience, and for fans to find their music.

MySongCast will provide a forum for serious music lovers to engage with musicians and other music fans. It is a site where real talent can be unearthed and a grass roots fan base developed.

Bands and musicians can upload their latest music and clips, post news and dates and interact personally with fans. Monthly competitions will reward popular bands and musicians in what will become an award that comes to symbolise those on the cusp of bigger things.

Fans, venues and record label scouts can not only be automatically kept up to date with their favourite bands, but be kept in the loop of other bands and musicians that fit in to their favourite musical genres. If punk’s your thing, then you can set up an RSS feed that will deliver all the punk news (updates, new uploaded material, tour dates or other news) to your inbox. The same applies for all genres of course, or the service can be limited to specific bands.

“The world is listening” – bands and musicians, now, need only find their voice.
