Felines Take to the Blogosphere to Promote International Cat Show

(PRLEAP.COM) Arlington, Texas — Using a "feline-only" blog, show cats are promoting The International Cat Association’s (TICA) 2008 Annual Cat Show.

Through their blog www.blog.tica2008.com cats are sharing what will happen at one of the world’s largest cat shows. TICA’s International show will recognize the winners from the current show season that runs from May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2008.

The blogs are "written" by the cats, discussing what happens at large cat shows like the Annual and during the show season.

"This is the first time cats have promoted an upcoming show of this size," said Debra Decker, Marketing Chair for the South Central Annual Team (SCAT). "We felt it made sense to promote a cat show through the eyes and voice of the cats being shown! Who better than to tell everyone what they’ll see when they come to the show."

The International show was held in Albuquerque, New Mexico this past September for the 2006-2007 show season. Close to 400 cats, kittens and alters were exhibited at the show.

The 2007-2008 Annual hosted by TICA’s South Central region will be held in Arlington, Texas at the Arlington Convention Center.
