The Conor and the Crossworlds story opens with Breaking the Barrier, a ten year old boy’s journey aboard Purugama, a champion and protector of the Crossworlds. It is garnering attention across the country, and Mr. Gerard will be traveling to at least ten states in early 2008 for author talks at schools and libraries.

In January, he will visit Mississippi for a series of talks at the Lamar County Library System. In February, he will travel to Northern California and Nevada. In April, Mr. Gerard and Conor will entertain middle school students in the Northeast, visiting among other states, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and Hew Hampshire.
