Hudson, Florida – Scuba West, with participating dive equipment manufacturer – Dive Rite (Lake City, Florida), host their very first “Demo Day” on Saturday, July 16, 2005 between 10am and 4pm. Divers of all ages are invited to test out a wide variety of dive equipment in Hudson Grotto. This event is a rare opportunity to try different styles of scuba equipment, as well as talk with factory representatives and staff who’ll be on hand to answer questions and discuss new technologies.

Included in this event are giveaway items, raffle prizes and a picnic lunch from noon until 2pm for all who attend. Everyone is welcome. Young divers (under 18) must attend with a parent or guardian. Proof of dive certification is required to try the equipment in the grotto.

Divers can register on the day of the event at Scuba West, which is next to Hudson Grotto. Registration is free for the first 25 divers. A reduced admission price of $10.00 until 4:00 includes all activities and lunch.

Scuba West is Pasco County’s oldest dive facility, founded in 1968. Today, Scuba West operates it’s own dive center, pool training facility and Hudson Grotto, all within steps of it’s front door.

Scuba West and Hudson Grotto are located at 6815 Tower Drive in Hudson, Florida, which is ½ block west of US HWY 19, 1 1/3 miles south of Hudson Ave and 1 mile north of State Road 52.
