Ethnic Minority Leader for Ireland's Changing Student Movement

The Union of Students in Ireland (USI) has unveiled new office headquarters and welcomed new USI President, Hamidreza Khodabakhshi.

Mr Khodabakhshi said he was excited about the future and described the new offices as "a real boost”.

He thanked the national membership of USI for their "fantastic" support during the move.

USI President Hamidreza Khodabakhshi said: “I am excited to be president of a Union that works tooth and nail to defend high quality, publicly funded higher education.

“USI has expanded space for campaign operations in our new offices, a real boost.

"Thanks go to the 250,000 members of USI for their fantastic support during the move.

“Students can now write for advice on a range of matters, ranging from third-level grants, to welfare and general education queries. Our new address is USI, First Floor, 3-4 St Agnes Road, Dublin 12.

"Invigorated we go forward to make the case for learners and learning in this new Dail.”
