NEW YORK, NY – Uni-Recruitment, Inc., a leading college recruitment company, announced today it will launch World Scholar, a new magazine aimed at reaching international students all over the globe. World Scholar will be a quarterly magazine that captures the drive and zeal of foreign students. Statistics show that international students contribute over $13 billion to the U.S. economy.

World Scholar will launch this October. The news/lifestyle publication will be packed with inspirational editorial coverage, untold stories and unique profiles of international students, U.S. colleges and universities. And certainly the magazine will provide the latest news on college application, scholarships, immigration and housing issues.

World Scholar is the brainchild of Jay Hyacinth, a former international student and Columbia University graduate. He says the magazine was developed out of need and will bring an exciting editorial approach that is unlike any other.

“World Scholar will provide this growing audience the best source of both information and inspiration,” Hyacinth says. “Already, World Scholar has been found to be appealing to companies seeking to connect with foreign students who have discretionary income to match their interests.”

World Scholar will publish one issue in the fall with an initial circulation of 100,000, and will increase its frequency to quarterly in 2006. The FREE magazine will be of a high production quality and available online at www.theworldscholar.com
