Neil Smith has joined ActionCOACH as the newest business coach in the Central Belt area in Scotland.

Before joining ActionCOACH, Smith owned a catering consulting business and worked as a UK Government mentor. Looking for a change, Smith began researching ActionCOACH over a year ago and finally decided business coaching would be the best way to use his knowledge and skills.

Smith will be part of Team Action Scotland, led by Managing Director Bruce Taylor. “What’s really impressive about Neil is his knowledge, tenacity and desire to help others,” Taylor said.

He added Smith’s previous mentoring role and business planning skills will also benefit coaching clients.

Smith’s new career is as much about changing his working lifestyle as it is about pursuing new opportunities.

“With ActionCOACH, I now have the ability to control my own destiny and the choice of who I work with,” he said. “It’s a very professional company dedicated to success, with a variety of systems to help people grow their businesses.”

In looking for the type of people who make good business coaches, Taylor says a certain attitude is important.

“A good ActionCOACH has a passion for success and is a courageous decision-maker,” he said. “Coaches deal with all types of businesses and people. Plus, they must produce results – so a success-seeking mindset is extremely important.”

ActionCOACH is the world’s number one business coaching franchise. Started by entrepreneur and CEO Brad Sugars in 1993, the company is one of the fastest growing franchises in the world, with more than 1,000 offices in 26 countries. To learn more, go to http://www.actioncoach.com.
