MUSCATINE, IA - A new online e-zine is quickly turning out to be a powerful competitor in the world of online news in Muscatine. The Muscazine, an online-only news resource, has been working towards becoming the most up-to-date and accurate news source found online.

"We have some great features so far," said Ryan Kopf. "We have been making it easier to submit stories. Getting the news is our first priority."

And a priority it certainly has been. They have been asking for press releases from anyone who might send one out - and have also been looking as often as they can for news stories, without simply duplicating information found on other local news sites. One story about a local downtown business for sale is exclusive to the Muscazine. New features add to their story tip submission speed. Users can txt or pix news stories to news -aht- muscazine.com to submit breaking news on location.

"It's really easy to write stories for the Muscazine," said an article writer, Christine Aber.

The website is considering futher work to attract more local web surfers. They have considered adding job listings, and possibly even making the listings free for businesses! Other features in the works include daily, weekly, or monthly optional email updates.

"New features, less errors, a cool place to find the most recent news," began Kopf, "That's what we want to do here."
