SCOTTSDALE BUSINESS LEADER ELECTED PRESIDENT OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE ASSOCIATION
Jim Kempski has been involved in the hospitality industry for over twenty five years and began his career in the Scottsdale vacation rental industry in 1994. Jim founded Specialty Lodging in Scottsdale four years ago and manages over 100 vacation rental homes and condominiums in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area. He has been a member of the VRMA Board of Directors since 1999 and most recently served as the organization’s Vice President.
The Vacation Rental Managers Association is a professional trade association for the vacation rental industry and is composed of nearly 600 short-term property management firms based in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and throughout the United States. VRMA recently conducted its 23rd Annual Conference and Showcase, which set a new attendance record for a professional development meeting of the vacation rental industry. Mr. Kempski was elected VRMA President at this industry wide gathering and was a featured presenter and moderator at several of the event’s sessions.
