Advanced Telecom Services of Wayne PA, has been retained by Wilson College of Chambersburg, PA, to provide a campus wide Emergency Text Message Alert system.

Wilson College is a private, rural campus of approximately 800 students. The Technology Department at the College will use the platform to send text message alerts to students, faculty and staff in case of an emergency. The product has the option of being used for non-emergency messages whenever needed in the future.

Advanced Telecom Services uses their product called TXTLaunchPad for this application and others like it. This product allows users to send an e-mail blast to thousands of mobile devises at one time, which is especially critical when an emergency is present. Timely notification is not the only advantage of TXTLaunchPad; there is no equipment to monitor, and the web-based program takes minutes to master.

Advanced Telecom Services has been a major player in text message technology advances. They support several platforms that can be used not only for emergency situations, but for applications used by retailers, night clubs and text voting customers.
