Cambridge, MA – December 19 – Four Mangos, a Cambridge based integrated marketing and technology firm, for the second year has been named one of Mass High Tech’s 2007 TechCitizens. The TechCitizenship Awards are presented annually to the region’s top technology companies that have demonstrated a commitment to giving back to the community. Four Mangos was recognized for the more than $125,000 donated in cash and products, and more than 1,000 volunteer hours to community organizations during 2006.

The Techcitizenship Awards are sponsored annually by Mass High Tech, the journal of New England technology, to recognize technology companies who use a portion of their corporate resources to reinvest in the community. As part of the awards breakfast, Four Mangos’ CEO and President, Neil Fennessey, participated in a panel discussion with representatives from Comcast, CityYear and Longwood Symphony Orchestra.

“Working with nonprofits, and giving back to the community are cornerstones of the Four Mangos mission,” said CEO and President, Neil Fennessey. “Community service has, and always will be linked with the philosophy of Four Mangos.”

Fennessey encourages all employees to get involved in the community, calling the Baystate a melting pot of creative innovation. "It's being a good responsible member of the business community — a good neighbor. You never know when you're going to need their services someday."

Four Mangos’ 2006-2007 pro-bono client of the year is Longwood Symphony Orchestra. The company helped them revamp their marketing materials, and was the lead sponsors of a Longwood concert at the Hatch Shell this summer. More than 8,000 people attended the “Harry Potter” themed evening of classical music where children were encouraged to come as their favorite wizard for a chance to join the symphony on stage. Four Mangos also worked with four other non-profits in 2006 in a pro-bono manner.
