Author of Book "Fidelis" Receives Glowing Review on Important Christian News Site Worldnetdaily.com

Author AR Horvath’s book, “Fidelis” was recently reviewed on the important Christian online news site, Worldnetdaily.com. Reviewer Don Hank declared the book as ‘fluent’ and ‘gripping.’

In a time when philosophers of all stripes are fashioning their ideas for young adult consumption, Horvath’s work will appeal to those looking for fantasy fiction written from a Christian world view. “Fidelis” has been described as both a Christian alternative to Harry Potter and a Christian alternative to Pullman’s “His Dark Materials” series. Horvath aims to speak from a Christian world view but also to be enjoyed by non-Christians. It seems he has succeeded.

Don Hank, the editor of Laigle’s Forum, a forum for discussion of Christianity and politics, wrote the review of “Fidelis” for Worldnetdaily.com.

About “Fidelis” he said, “"Fidelis" is fluent, gripping and written as though the author had actually been there. I saw not a word out of place or any word that may have qualified as filler. That's why I simply couldn't put the book down. Neither could my 13-year-old son. But more importantly, I felt as though I were in a gold mine with nuggets of wisdom popping up everywhere…”

He adds that Horvath is a “born entertainer.”

“Fidelis” describes an America where a great calamity has occurred and the nation has been thrust into anarchy. As various groups clamor for control, the main character, Fides, is trying to reach home. As he journeys, he must contemplate his place in the world and evaluate the relationship between ideas and consequences.

Horvath’s book is available on Amazon.com but autographed copies can be purchased direct from the author at http://www.birthpangs.com.
