DuraTech Industries Unveils First Self-Cleaning Air Intake Industrial Horizontal Grinder

The heavy duty industrial grinder boasts a wide array of grinding capabilities for industrial applications such as recycling and converting wood waste, tree clippings, pallets, paper and other waste into reclaimable material such as compost or mulch. Construction contractors and other municipalities are able to utilize the horizontal grinder for their clearing and recycling needs in close proximity of streets and residential areas due to the downward drive of the hammermill, thus safer containment of debris.

Product features of the heavy duty 9564 Industrial Horizontal Grinder include a 40 degree oscillating unloading conveyor and a 30 ft. long unloading conveyor that stacks material 22 feet high. This industrial grinder is powered by a CAT C27 Tier II 950 HP Diesel Engine with a PT Tech HPTO 15 Wet Clutch. With a 315 cubic foot hopper capacity, this horizontal grinder has a heavy duty weight of 91,500 lbs. The 42” diameter feed roller assists in the feeding of a 64” 12,100 lb. hammermill with 24 hammers (tip swing of 51”), 8 hammer rods (3.25” diameter)and 39” diameter x 1.5” thick rotor plates.
