Up for Bid on Auction Network: Sharon and Ozzy’s Personal Favorites

(PRLEAP.COM) TULSA, Okla. – (November 20, 2007) – Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne made international headlines when they announced they would be auctioning off personal items from three of their homes. On November 30 and December 1, exclusively on Auction Network (www.auctionnetwork.tv), viewers worldwide will be able to watch the Osbourne auction live and bid in real-time on more than 500 items from Sharon and Ozzy’s personal collection of art, furniture and memorabilia—many items recognizable from the family’s popular TV series.

“The Osbourne event is an integral part of the increasing excitement on Auction Network,” said Auction Network CEO Pam McKissick.”
The sale will be held on November 30 and December 1 at Gibson Guitar Showroom in Beverly Hills, California, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated the Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation. Hosted by one of the nation’s top auction houses, Julien’s Auctions, the two-day sale consists of three sessions. Auction Network will be there to capture each session live and broadcast live pre- and post-auction shows, interviewing attendees and auctioneers about the excitement surrounding the sale of this entertaining family’s items. These pre- and post-auction shows will air 30 minutes prior to and immediately following each auction and feature exclusive interviews with Sharon Osbourne, giving viewers a glimpse of why these special, personal items are up for bid.
“It has taken our lifetime to collect all of these items,” said Sharon Osbourne.”
Ozzy takes a different tone. “I don’t know why we are selling everything as I want it all,” he said. “As long as she does not ask me for a pair of my boxers for the auction I will support it, especially since it is helping raise funds for her charity.”
The hundreds of personal possessions up for bid are taken from the Osbourne’s three palatial residences, located in Beverly Hills, Malibu and Buckinghamshire, England.
