Barry Reichman, CEO of Multimedia Tutorial Services, Inc, appeared on a small business panel hosted by CBS 88 radio station at the Marriott Hotel in Brooklyn, New York on November, 2007, chaired by veteran business anchorman Joe Connolly. The small business breakfast drew an audience of more than 200 small business owners from the tri-state area who came to learn and share ideas.

Each of the four panelists represented a unique business sector and provided the audience with a message of how they were growing their business and dealing with their challenges.

Joe Connolly of CBS radio asked CEO Barry Reichman how the Company was growing its new Tutorialchannel.com online tutoring services. The Company, said the CEO, has launched a media campaign to include TV and radio, national and local to advertise its program. It has, in addition, launched a public relations campaign targeting educational editors at prominent magazines and newspapers.

Multimedia’s president, Barry Reichman was asked by a member of the audience if Math Made Easy and Tutorial Channel were encountering a competitive threat from outsourced tutorial services located in India who are able to charge low prices because of low labor costs. Barry Reichman quipped, “Students start off their sessions with foreign tutors having a math problem. By the end of the session they have both a math and an English problem! In reality, in order for any tutoring to be effective, the tutors have to employ superior communications skills to clarify the student’s confusion. With our online tutoring services at Tutorialchannel.com, students can take advantage of topnotch teachers who explain everything with clear and articulate explanations.” Mr. Reichman added, “The Company recognizes the need to provide inexpensive tutoring by offering parents a subscription package for $49.95 per month for weekly 30 minute tutoring sessions. These rates are well below the average tutoring rates of $50 to $100 per hour.”

The Company expects its public relations campaign, coordinated by IRG in New York City to produce similar exposures in the media and as a result, to heighten public awareness of the Company’s new innovative online tutorial services.
