DevTek teams with Outback, Motor City Bowls to make InUrEar™ wireless earpiece radios available to fans
(
PRLEAP.COM) Hartselle, AL, December 20, 2007 – Football fans attending major 2007-2008 bowl games will have a unique opportunity to listen to play-by-play coverage using InUrEar™ wireless earpiece radios. InUrEar™ will be available for purchase at the December 26 Motor City Bowl in Detroit, and the January 1 Outback Bowl in Tampa.
The disposable, one-piece radio fits snugly over the right ear and will be tuned to pick up each school’s network broadcast feed. Fans simply choose which broadcast they wish to listen to by toggling back and forth between the two pre-assigned channels. The earpieces also feature four volume controls and will provide up to 10 hours of comprehensive coverage.
“We are honored that these key bowls are allowing DevTek the opportunity to enhance the experience of fans attending these exciting match-ups,” said Joe Holmes, marketing director for DevTek, Inc.
InUrEar™ can be purchased on game-day at retail kiosks inside Ford Field and Raymond James Stadium. The earpiece radios can be kept as a souvenir or disposed of following the game in trash receptacles.
InUrEar™ was introduced to fans this summer by legendary sportscaster Keith Jackson. Following a tremendous debut at The 2007 Presidents Cup in Montreal, InUrEar™ was available at select venues during the fall including key games at Ohio State, LSU, Florida, North Carolina State and Alabama. InUrEar™ was also featured in the New Products Showcase at the 2007 Baseball Winter Meetings held recently in Nashville, TN.
DevTek is also expecting to finalize agreements with the Liberty Bowl and GMAC Bowl this week.
