MVA Scientific Consultants to Present Paper at National Confernce

ATLANTA, July 20th, 2005- Managing Director and Senior Research Scientist Tim B. Vander Wood, Ph.D. and Research Intern Rachel Rose have collaborated on a paper that has been accepted by the Microscopy Society of America (MSA). The paper entitled “Mica Aspect Ratios
Measured by Scanning White Light Interference Microscopy” will be presented to the organization by Dr. Vander Wood, during MSA’s annual meeting- Microscopy and Microanalysis 2005. This year the meeting will be held in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 31st – August 4th.

The presentation follows Dr. Vander Wood’s recent appearances at the Symposium on Air Quality Measurement Methods and Technology 2005 in San Francisco, CA and at the ASTM International Committee E56 on Nanotechnology in Reno, NV. Dr. Vander Wood is a founding member of the E56 Committee, which currently consists of 70 members and organizations representing over twelve countries.
