International Affairs Council Announces 2008 WorldQuest For Business Event

(PRLEAP.COM) RALEIGH, N.C. – Todd Culpepper, executive director of the International Affairs Council (IAC) (www.ianc.org), has announced that the 2008 WorldQuest for Business competition will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008 at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham. WorldQuest for Business is a global knowledge competition and networking opportunity in which teams of four people are asked rounds of 10 questions each covering topics that include geography, cultural behaviors and current events. The event is open to businesses of all types and sizes, including nonprofits, colleges and universities, and government offices, with limited team spaces available. A business may register more than one team allowing departments to compete against each other. In addition to corporate teams, independent team registration is available as well. WorldQuest is the flagship program of the World Affairs Councils of America, of which IAC is a member. For more information or to register for the event, please visit www.iacnc.org/events.aspx.

“We are pleased to announce the 2008 WorldQuest for Business competition,” said Culpepper. “The event is a fun and unique professional development activity that builds comradeship among teams while allowing businesses to support and encourage global understanding. It is also a great opportunity for businesses to network with other globally-minded organizations.”
