Marshfield Boys and Girls Club Kids Spread Holiday Cheer with Homemade Cards for Seniors.

(PRLEAP.COM) The handmade cards, crafted from colored paper, magic markers, foamies, glitter and stickers took a couple of weeks for the 75 children to make. Many of the children were so excited, they made two cards. Quite a few children inserted a handwritten letter which told the recipient about their favorite part of Christmas.

The cards were distributed by the Marshfield Council on Aging to the Senior Center and the Grace Ryder Elderly Home last week.

“This is definitely a program we would like to continue each year. The kids, who ranged in age from 6 to 14 years old, really enjoyed getting involved and designing their own holiday cards for our community’s seniors,” noted Greg Jackson, Marshfield Boys and Girls Club Executive Director.
