Active.com Launches “Who Wants to Get Active?” Program Featuring Everyday People Striving to Reach Fitness Goals

(www.activenetwork.com), has paired up everyday people with well-known fitness experts and coaches to get in shape for 2008 through the “Who Wants to Get Active?” program. Created to help individuals reach their fitness goals and also motivate others, “Who Wants to Get Active?” (http://www.active.com/fitness) follows the training programs, challenges and accomplishments of men and women through personal and feature-rich blogs.

Kicking off the program are six men and women from around the country, ranging in age from 25 to 73 years old and of varying fitness levels. Although they share a common purpose, to lead a more active and healthier lifestyle in 2008, each person has a unique goal and reason for participating in the program.
