The Magical Christmas Caroling Truck: A Memory-Making Experience!

The Magical Christmas Caroling Truck, a tradition in Toluca Lake and North Hollywood since 1984, will once again be spreading its LA brand of holiday cheer this Christmas Eve.

This event is a 21st century caroling experience complete with a sixty-two foot eighteen wheeler decorated with Christmas scenes and thousands of sparkling lights. The block-long entourage includes over 100 costumed singers, dancers, characters, and Santa on his sleigh. A medley of carols — both old classics and new favorites — are serenaded to the families and friends along the 10 mile route with a little help from the Truck’s 20,000 watt, state of the art sound system.

This heartwarming Christmas spectacle began 24 years ago when 12 friends jumped on the back of an old truck playing music and singing carols for their neighbors. Each year after, more carolers and dancers joined in, and more neighbors made it a part of their yearly traditions.

On Christmas Eve, Monday December 24th, the Magical Christmas Caroling Truck will be in the neighborhoods of Toluca Lake and North Hollywood between 5:00 PM and 11:00 PM, rain or shine. Everyone is invited to participate and walk with the truck as it makes its way along the ten-mile route.
